Position Title: Medical BillerPosition Summary & Responsibilities:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for charge entry and processing, patient registration, managing patient aging reports, and handling patient inquiries via phone. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the medical claims follow-up process and be proficient in assisting with patient balance collections.Experience with Practice Management Systems is essential, and proficiency in Epic and Athena is highly desirable.Hourly pay + Quarterly Bonus ProgramPrimary Required Skills:Experience with electronic/clearinghouse billing softwareAbility to use health plan websites to verify benefits and address claim issuesProficiency in processing charges and patient paymentsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordCandidate Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of three years of medical billing experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentProven experience as a Medical Biller with in-depth knowledge of medical billing proceduresProficiency in ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systemsStrong understanding of insurance guidelines and claim submission processesKnowledge of health plan benefits and patient eligibilityExceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong commitment to attendance and the ability to fulfill an on-site roleWe offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
