Position OverviewCLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking an OB/GYN or Women's Health Physician to provide specialized gynecological and reproductive health services at a federal prison camp in Alderson, West Virginia. FPC Alderson is a minimum-security federal prison camp for female inmates in rural southeastern West Virginia, requiring healthcare providers with experience in women's health. You will deliver comprehensive women's health care including gynecological examinations, prenatal and postnatal care, contraception management, and reproductive health counseling for the female inmate population. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive gynecological examinations, Pap smears, and breast health screeningsManage prenatal care for pregnant inmates including high-risk pregnancy monitoring and delivery coordinationProvide postnatal care, lactation support, and postpartum health monitoringDiagnose and treat gynecological conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and abnormal bleedingManage contraception counseling and family planning servicesCoordinate with outside obstetric facilities for labor and delivery servicesScreen for and manage sexually transmitted infectionsPerform minor gynecological procedures within facility capabilitiesMaintain clinical documentation per BOP standards Required QualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or board eligibleActive, unrestricted West Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain)Active DEA registrationCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationU.S. citizenship requiredAbility to pass federal background investigation Preferred QualificationsExperience with underserved or high-risk populationsCorrectional healthcare experienceFamiliarity with BOP prenatal care protocols Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $240,000 - $310,000 annuallyComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off, holiday pay, malpractice coverageProfessional development and CE supportAbout CLFC Healthcare & CommunicationsCLFC Healthcare & Communications provides healthcare staffing and language access services to federal, state, and local government agencies nationwide.
