Water Spider Location: High Point, NC Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 5 pm, Friday 6:30am to 3 pm Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour Bonus: $1,000 HIRING BONUS and Bi-Weekly Productivity & Performance Bonus About the Role Mickey Truck Bodies is hiring a Water Spider to ensure the production lines have the materials, supplies, tools and resources needed to produce our truck and trailer bodies. Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. The company operates in 4 states with over 400 Mickey employees at these locations. This role is ideal for experienced inventory support person. Key Responsibilities * Efficiently transport materials, tools, and supplies to designated workstations and areas as needed. * Monitor Parts Status: Regularly check the availability and status of parts required to meet production schedules. * Coordinate with production team leaders and supervisors to understand material requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly. * Inspect materials for defects or discrepancies and report issues to the relevant department for resolution Qualifications * Forklift certified (preferred) * Intermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel * Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis * Willing to learn and accept direction * Excellent written and verbal skills * Able to work in a TEAM setting * Strong work ethic * Excellent organizational skills * Manufacturing experience, preferred in automotive industry Physical Requirements * Must be able to communicate clearly * Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs * Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl and kneel * Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Ability to work around machinery of all types * Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment Benefits * Bi-Weekly Productivity and Performance Bonus * Paid Vacation Time * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (employee cost share) * Wellness Plan with Incentives * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) * Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Insurance * Company-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance * Company-Paid Basic Life Insurance with AD&D * 401(k) with Company Match Work Environment Manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, elevated noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather conditions.
