A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail location in Binghamton, NY. This role focuses on leading pharmacy operations to ensure regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and business growth within the pharmacy department. Location: Binghamton, NY Job Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts, approximately 62 hours bi-weekly Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: Collaborate with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies. Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions through Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage department profitability, script growth, and clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Oversee inventory control by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand. Align performance objectives with key department metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing medical-related questions and healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Interact with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department. Prioritize and execute pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Current New York Pharmacist License Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing retail pharmacy operations This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $59.50 to $71.50 per hour or higher, based on experience.
