This opportunity seeks a dedicated pharmacist to support daily operations at a retail pharmacy located in Vestal, NY. This full-time position offers a structured schedule and the chance to contribute to patient care and inventory management within a well-established retail environment. Location: Vestal, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM 36 hours bi-weekly Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense prescription and non-prescription medications. Provide guidance to patients regarding self-medication and maintain communication with healthcare and insurance professionals. Administer patient immunizations regularly. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, manage scheduling, recognize performance, and assign work to pharmacy associates to maintain efficiency and meet business goals. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Current, active New York State Pharmacist License. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and exercise independent judgment.
