A skilled professional is needed to operate advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment, producing detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across a broad age range from adolescents to geriatrics. Create sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer. Maintain accurate patient records, files, and billing information. Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration. Manage inventory and supplies. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications / Desired Experience Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) with ARRT certification in CT required. Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in California required. Advanced CT modality certification required (preferred in CA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment. Venipuncture certification preferred.
