This opportunity seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services within a multi-location healthcare system. The role involves floating between three distinct pharmacy settings: the main medical center, a hospital, and an infusion center. Flexibility in working varied shifts and locations is essential to meet patient care demands. Location: Moorpark, CA Job Type: Contract Schedule: Full-time hours 8 and 10-hour shifts based on location Includes swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holidays Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and safely at each assigned site Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy Manage hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents Adapt to workflow at different pharmacy settings within the system Utilize electronic health records, preferably Cerner (training available) Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid Pharmacist licensure Experience in hospital and infusion pharmacy practice preferred Comfort with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy preparation Willingness and ability to travel among multiple pharmacy locations daily Familiarity with Cerner electronic systems an asset This contract position offers full-time hours with varied scheduling, requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills. Local candidates are preferred given the requirement to travel between locations, although flexibility for commuting is considered.
