With necessary breaksMedication administration on all assigned med passesStocking all administration supplies in med roomsAssists with stocking of delivered supplies to the medical departmentStocking OTC medications and delivered medicationsCleaning carts Cleaning med rooms - infection control, sweeping, mopping, etc.Empty cart trash and collecting empty med cards and bottles from admissionTracking and re-supplying controlled medicationsNotifying nurses of refills needed - with potential to be trained by a nursing to facilitate the actual ordering of medications from Omnicare; Reporting any medications that do not have refills so nursing staff can facilitate provider re-orderingNotifies nursing staff of youth requiring further assessment neededAccurate documentation, with an emphasis on sign-in sheet, MAR, IRsPotential to inventory and order OTC stock for campusTransporting youth to and from medical clinic and psych clinic as ableTransport youth to and from outside clinical providers as necessary and when approved by supervisor.First Aid Kit stockingStocking medical supplies on units - gloves, masks, etc.Picking up medications from outside pharmaciesCleaning in Medical to include med and exam rooms as ablePotentially assisting in other administrative areas if time allows - such as requesting outside provider notesAuditing MARs and required documentation related to medication passesAssisting with pass medication prep and transportation medication prepScanning and uploading all individual supporting documentation to EHR - individual MARs and narc sheets, home pass signature pages, etc.School med pass included in job duties to include day treatment youthFollows up and documents on all OTCs given such as for headache, nausea, etcHiring Requirements (Please read carefully)High School Diploma or GED PLUS two-years human service experience OR 60 college credit hoursMust pass a QMAP class provided by our facility. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's LicenseMust be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to pass physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust pass criminal background check investigationFlexibility to work overtime as required.****Lived experience is valued and considered a qualifying criterion for this position.
