Position Highlights * Casual, flexible scheduling with 12-hour rotating shifts * Includes weekends and holidays on a rotating basis * Great opportunity to gain experience across a variety of patient care areas What You'll Do As a Respiratory Therapist at UPMC Cole, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Qualifications: * You must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (approved by CoARC). * OR if you're a student with a temporary license, you can start working with HR approval and official transcripts. * You need to have Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification that includes both classroom and hands-on training. * You must earn your Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) before your temporary permit expires. * If you received your CRTT after July 1, 2002, you'll need to keep your certification up to date according to NBRC requirements. * RRTs and CRTs will be considered. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based his/her individual experience, education, and certifications. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire * Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) * Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) * Osteopathic Respiratory Care OR Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) * Act 33 with renewal * Act 34 with renewal * Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
