This position will serve at an affiliated county hospital - Parkland Health.The selected candidate must have an M.D./D.O., be board certified or board eligible in their primary specialty (e.g. General Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine) and must have completed specialty training in Addiction (Addiction Psychiatry and/or Addiction Medicine) and/or be board certified or board eligible in an Addiction specialty.While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to an academic career. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Leadership experience is preferred.
