The Gilbert School is a small Grade 7-12 school with a staff dedicated to the needs of all students. The position of Math Interventionist is to assist students who have been identified as at risk with math intervention to provide a continuum of support and help them get on grade level. The interventionist develops material and lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction and evaluates and assesses student performance. Educational Background and Work Experience CT # 029 Math Certification- Grades 7-12 Knowledge of SAT preferred Teaching experience in both MS and HS beneficial Ideal candidates will possess: Outstanding academic achievement and promote student character development Dedication to professional learning, development, and growth Strong instructional and classroom management skills. High level of personal organization and planning.
