Job Description Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Location: Culbertson, MT Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent placement Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a clinical laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures that support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols and guidelines Collect, process, and analyze specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for testing Accurately document and manage test results using laboratory information systems (LIS) Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and quality control protocols Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or similar setting Proficiency in laboratory disciplines including: Hematology Chemistry Microbiology Coagulation Urinalysis Blood Banking Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and quality control procedures Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred: Phlebotomy experience Prior hospital laboratory experience Schedule 8-hour shifts Day shift Monday-Friday Holidays as scheduled On-call responsibilities Rotating weeknights and weekends Benefits 401(k) with matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) & flexible spending account (FSA) Life insurance Paid time off Bereavement leave Relocation assistance Mileage and travel reimbursement Retirement plan Interested!?
