Psychologist (PreK-8th Grade)This posting is for a position during the 2026-2027 school year which will start in August 2026.Must-Haves- High-priority skills and qualities Continuously reflects, grows, and develops professional practice Believes in the capacity of each child to achieve at high levels Cultivates a collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused culture Approaches all situations with an asset-based and growth mindset Develops and uses effective organization systems Communicates in a proactive, timely, and effective manner Minimum Qualifications Missouri school psychologist certification or eligibility for certification Advanced degree in psychology or closely related field Near native fluency in spoken and written English Nice-to-Haves- Skills and qualities that are a plus but not necessarily a requirement Employment experience in K-8th grade setting Strong data tracking and interpretation habits Solid understanding of academic and behavioral strategies for students with various needs Knowledge of best practices when working with language learners Responsibilities Provides appropriate, research-based scaffolds, differentiated instruction, and interventions Collaborate on creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans Collects and analyzes data, to drive decisions within a Multi-tiered System of Supports Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 academic and behavioral consultation and support for students across grade levels Serve as the primary liaison for parents and school staff in special education referrals Administer diagnostic assessments and psychoeducational evaluations Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling as needed Facilitate school-based benchmarking and progress monitoring procedures. Conduct informal assessments such as observations, curriculum-based measurements, functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Serve as the 504 Coordinator, facilitating initial and annual 504 meetings, acting as the case manager to ensure accommodations are implemented Serve on the MTSS or PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) committee Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position is competitive and rages from $54,285 - $78,304. Your salary would be based on the highest postsecondary degree you have obtained and the number of years of experience you have.
