Performs analysis of situations which involve variable fine-line discriminations of several items, and the use and maintenance of complicated instruments. May supervise work of other technical personnel. Provide technical guidance to staff regarding lab tests and procedures, performs control checks, proficiency testing, periodic maintenance on equipment and assists with patient care as needed. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Medical Technology, Biological Science, or related field. MT/MLS certification required (ASCP, AMT or AAB. ASCP preferred). MOHS surgical facility experiences preferred. Familiarity with instrument cleaning, maintenance and sterilization is required. Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute is an EEO employer.
