If you are a talented, passionate clinician looking to make a real difference in the recovery community, the Avenues family warmly welcomes you!What You'll DoCreate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each clientConduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessionsTake responsibility for all clinical needs, services, and aftercare for your client caseloadPrevent, intervene and de-escalate in event of a crisisMaintain impeccable documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventionCollaborate with Clinical Director, treatment team and family for seamless coordination of careModel ethics, morality and recovery principles in every professional interaction - honesty, accountability, dignity and respectWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required. Master's degree preferred.Valid state licensure / certification necessary to practice in this roleExcellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsCompassionate, dignified character which models recovery principlesAbility to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentialityWhere You'll WorkAvenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 93-bed residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.
