Support a dynamic retail pharmacy team as a per diem pharmacist in the Tucson area, serving multiple locations within a well-established food and pharmacy setting. This role involves providing reliable coverage for call-outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations across several pharmacies with an average prescription volume of 100-125 per day. The selected pharmacists will form a 2-3 member team to ensure seamless operations and receive dedicated training to prepare for varying site demands, including some pharmacist-only locations. Responsibilities: Provide professional pharmacy services across multiple retail sites. Cover shifts on an as-needed basis, typically 2-4 days per week. Manage prescription processing and patient counseling effectively. Support pharmacy technician teams or operate independently at pharmacist-only sites. Participate in training sessions to become proficient with QS1 systems and site-specific protocols. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including immunization administration and basic life support. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred. Immunization certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) card required. Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is a plus. Ability to adapt to varying pharmacy environments and collaborate with diverse teams. Strong communication and patient service skills. Schedule: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some sites closing at 8 p.m. Shift hours vary based on coverage needs; no guaranteed hours.
