You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. There, all personnel will be able to do their best in caring for patients.A Director of Nursing should have once been a hard-working and compassionate Registered Nurse who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener, and a problem-solver is what will open our door for you.Responsibilities:Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel (RN, LPN, etc.)Guide staffing proceduresSet objectives and long-term goals for the nursing departmentOrganize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care proceduresDevelop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standardsResolve issues and deficiencies when neededCollaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operationsReport to upper managementQualifications:Proven experience as Director of Nursing is preferred Valid nursing and CPR certificationActive RN license requiredDegree in nursing; A Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration is a plusMust have experience in Long Term CareUnderstanding of basic budgeting and financial reportingGreat knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcareWillingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administrationExcellent ability to lead and develop personnelGreat communication and people skillsOutstanding organizational and stress management skillsAptitude in problem-solvingEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERThe Facility is an equal-opportunity employer.
