Job Title: Director, Childcare and EducationReports to: Chief Operating OfficerJob Status: Full-time, ExemptSt. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is the first of its kind facility in the United States and a global leader on comprehensive intergenerational care for all ages and abilities. We are excited for you to join our organization to advance the mission and operational effectiveness for our continued growth to serve the community.Position Summary: Supervise and lead staffs, design program plans, oversee daily activities, and prepare budgets. They are responsible for all aspects of their centers program, which may include before- and after-school care.Duties and Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Manage daily staffing of classrooms to be ratio by adjusting classroom assignments2. Return all phone calls to parents and perspective parents on a daily basis3. Return all emails to staff and childcare families4. Review and sign all accident/incident 5. Inspect and manage setup of classrooms to be in compliance with Youngstar and State guidelines6. Provide tours for perspective families and manage waiting list7. Plan for transitions and notify teachers of new students entering new classroom and old students leaving classroom. Also send letters to parents that would include transition dates, times, and location of new room.8. Fill in for short term classroom vacancies because of sickness, vacation, etc.9. Develop fundraisers and family social events to benefit childcare department10. Working with other St. Ann Center departments on intergenerational activity planning11. Building relationship with childcare parents12 Any additional items requested by Director of Childcare and Vice President of ChildcareFollows all policies and procedures of St. Ann Center for Intergenerational CareAt least 2 years of early childhood educationLevel 12 of the RegistrySkills/Abilities: Strong verbal skills, neat and clean appearance Flexible with time and tasks and interpersonal relations Infant/Toddler Credential Preferred Able to work with a variety of ages; able to perform the following with minimal supervisionSt. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is an equal opportunity employer.
