This role is essential in maintaining a safe, healthy environment for our residents, staff, and visitors by leading infection prevention and control efforts throughout the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs in accordance with CDC, CMS, and NYSDOH guidelinesConduct ongoing surveillance of infections and analyze trends to prevent outbreaksEducate staff on infection control practices, including hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation precautionsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and prepare for inspections and auditsInvestigate and manage infection outbreaks and exposure incidentsCollaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote best practicesMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to infection control.Qualifications & RequirementsCurrent RN license in New York State (required)Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtainPrior experience in infection control, public health, or long-term care strongly preferredStrong knowledge of CDC and CMS infection control regulationsExcellent communication, training, and organizational skillsAbility to analyze data and implement effective interventionsPreferred:• Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.Compensation & Benefits• Competitive Salary• Health Insurance: Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage.• 401(k): Retirement savings plan with company match.• Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.• Discount Programs: Employee discounts on a variety of products and services.• Professional Development: Ongoing training and development opportunities.• Innovative Training Programs: Access to programs to enhance your career growth.How to ApplyOur simple and smooth online application process makes it easy for you to apply!
