Bargaining Unit: Non Represented - SupervisorRate of Pay: $56.14/hour + DOESummaryThe X-Ray/CT Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational oversight of the X-Ray/CT, DI front desk and Urgent Care X-Ray departments. This role provides leadership and support to technologists, ensures safe and efficient patient care delivery, maintains regulatory and accreditation readiness, and oversees staffing, scheduling, workflow, and quality initiatives. The Supervisor functions as a working leader, supporting complex clinical situations while coordinating resources, education, and communication across the department.The X-Ray/CT Supervisor works collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Director and Manager, Radiologists, nursing, providers, and support services to ensure high quality imaging services, excellent patient experience, and efficient departmental operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversees daily X-Ray, CT and front desk operations, ensuring appropriate staffing and workflow efficiency in additional to the Urgent Care clinic X-Ray staffingManages daily schedules and procedure add-ons to support patient care needsEnsures AMION call schedules are accurate and up to dateLeads daily huddles and ongoing communication with team membersProvides on-floor support as needed, including assisting with complex casesQuality, Safety, and ComplianceMonitors and maintains compliance with regulatory, hospital, and accreditation standardsTracks and supervises readiness for inspections and documentation requirements in collaboration w DI Manager and DI DirectorOversees DIQAPI quality metrics and related improvement initiatives in collaboration w DI Manager and DI DirectorReviews repeat analysis, hand hygiene, dose/compliance metrics, and corrective action plans, marker usageEnsures adherence to CT and X-Ray protocols and supervises protocol complianceStaff Supervision & DevelopmentAssists with hiring, orients, and onboards new staffProvides day-to-day coaching and performance feedbackConducts competency verification and skill assessmentsOversees training programs and applications training for new equipmentAddresses performance concerns and escalates significant issues to DI leadershipSupervises student program and clinical rotationsScheduling, Timekeeping, and StaffingManages shift trades, and PTO approvalsEnsures adequate staffing coverage across all shiftsResolves scheduling conflicts to support operationsOversees daily staffing assignments and manages staff schedules in CT/ X-Ray/ DI Assistants/ Tech IICompletes staff schedules in CT/ X-RayClinical and Patient SupportProvides clinical support and leadership for technologistsAssists in prioritizing workflow based on patient acuity and department needsPromotes patient-centered care, quality imaging, and service excellenceData Tracking & ReportingAssists in collecting and analyzing turnaround times and modality volumesMonitors and distributes VRAD reports and trend dataTracks biopsy and procedure pathology in collaboration with the DI Manager and DirectorReviews efficiency trends and implements improvement strategies in collaboration with the DI Manager and DirectorEquipment & SuppliesEnsures equipment readiness, preventive maintenance scheduling, and issue escalationOversees supply ordering and par-level managementCoordinates new equipment onboarding and staff trainingEducation & CommunicationProvides ongoing staff education on workflows, resources, equipment, and expectationsEnsures timely dissemination of departmental communicationPrepares and coordinates meeting agendas and minutes for X-Ray/CT, Tech II and DI Assistants in collaboration with DI ManagerOther ResponsibilitiesCoordinates application training for new systems/equipmentSupports initiatives improving access, quality, patient experience, and efficiencyCollaborates with leadership on departmental goals and projectsDemonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.Complies with System policies and procedures.Other duties as may be assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
