As the lead, you will guide patient care, oversee apheresis procedures, and ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing transplant or cellular therapy. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse with a passion for oncology, leadership skills, and a strong dedication to patient-centered care. Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Lead and coordinate all apheresis activities, ensuring high-quality care for oncology patients requiring apheresis and cellular therapy treatments. Manage patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer treatments by established protocols and patient-specific care plans. Educate patients and families about procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care, providing emotional support and compassionate care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state and federal regulations, and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records. Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing care protocols and procedures for the apheresis unit. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology or apheresis nursing; previous experience in a leadership role preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required; ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) or Apheresis certification is a plus.
