As a full-time faculty member, the successful candidate will play a key role in resident education, continuity clinic precepting, and quality improvement initiatives within a fully integrated academic environment.Key Responsibilities• Provide outpatient primary care for adult patients within ECMC's Internal Medicine Center.• Supervise and teach internal medicine residents throughout their three-year residency program, serving as a clinical preceptor and mentor.• Participate in didactic teaching, curriculum development, and faculty meetings to advance the academic mission.• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health, and care coordination to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.• Engage in quality improvement, scholarly activities, and clinical initiatives aligned with UB and ECMC's mission to improve health outcomes across Western New York.• Support population health and preventive medicine efforts within an NCQA-recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home model.Qualifications• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York.• Commitment to academic medicine, teaching excellence, and serving a diverse patient community.• Prior experience in an academic or teaching environment preferred but not required.Compensation and Benefits• Competitive academic salary commensurate with experience.
