Summary Position Highlights: * Fulfills all didactic, research, and work requirements as outlined in the ASHP Specialty Residency Manual. * Works centrally and decentrally to perform all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including accurate dispensing, clinical interaction with the health care team, patient care monitoring and supervision of the pharmacy technicians. The Ideal Candidate: * Is able to work independently, provide supervision to the technical staff, and provide support to peers. * Has professional interpersonal skills. Responsibilities. * Serves as a resource for other health care providers (pharmacists, technicians, nurses, and physicians) through educational and training programs. * Will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing patient care. * Uses comprehensive practice skills in patient assessment, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, nutrition, pain management, and patient interactions. Credentials and Qualifications: * Pharm.D and completion of ASHP approved Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY-1)required. * Licensure, or eligibility for pharmacy licensure, in the state of Florida is required.
