A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join their team in Elmira, NY. Location: Elmira, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and maximize profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense medications and medical compounds, providing advice to self-medicating patients as needed. Dispense over-the-counter medications while maintaining communication with healthcare and insurance professionals. Administer patient immunizations regularly, ensuring adherence to safety and health guidelines. When Pharmacy Manager is absent, manage pharmacy associates by scheduling, recognizing performance, addressing discipline, and assigning tasks to maximize team effectiveness and meet company objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Active New York State Pharmacist License. Current New York Immunization License preferred. Ability to start immediately is essential.
