A retail pharmacist position is available at a well-established pharmacy in Elmira, NY. This permanent role offers an opportunity to work a consistent schedule supporting patient care and pharmacy operations within a friendly community setting. Schedule: Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense drugs and medical compounds; provide guidance to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications. Maintain effective communication with healthcare and insurance professionals to support patient health. Administer patient immunizations regularly. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, oversee scheduling and performance of pharmacy staff, ensure compliance with company policies, and assign work tasks to optimize team productivity and meet profit goals. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pharmacist license valid in New York. Immunization certification/license for New York preferred. Ability to start immediately.
