A leading healthcare facility in Oakland, CA seeks an experienced Pharmacy Operations Supervisor for a contract role beginning ASAP. This opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with potential for extension, working Monday through Friday during day shifts-weekends off. The position involves managing pharmacy operations in an acute care hospital environment, utilizing EPIC EMR software. Key Responsibilities: Oversee pharmacy workflow and scheduling to optimize efficiency Conduct policy reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including USP guidelines Provide training on IV competencies and support pharmacy staff development Lead meetings and coordinate communication within the pharmacy team Manage pharmacy technology systems such as BD suite (Pyxis, PK, C2 Safe), Excel, and Word Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist in the State of California with current and valid licensure Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy; Pharm.D. degree and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent preferred Minimum two years of leadership experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy setting Strong skills in scheduling, managing workflow, and policy review Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities Location: Oakland, California This contract position is ideal for pharmacists with proven leadership experience ready to contribute to a dynamic acute care pharmacy team.
