In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality teams to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.What You'll DoPerform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, traded products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specificationsReview and validate supplier Certificates of Analysis and issue CoAs for finished productsRecord, manage, and verify laboratory data in LIMS, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and complianceMaintain statistical data for process monitoring and quality reportingSupport investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results, including re-sampling, testing, and data collectionAssist in root cause analysis and documentation of non-conforming materialsParticipate in product and process audits and provide analytical support for customer requirements and technical service activitiesMaintain laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, maintenance, method implementation, and sample/document controlContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including optimization of testing methods and laboratory proceduresCollaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality teams to support production and quality objectivesEnsure compliance with company procedures, regulatory standards, and safety requirements, and support internal/external auditsProfileWhat We're Looking ForFamiliarity with analytical techniques and laboratory equipmentStrong attention to detail and data accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of LIMS and quality systems is a plusKnowledge of physicochemical testing methods and laboratory techniquesAbility to perform analysis and accurately interpret resultsExperience identifying and supporting investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) resultsFamiliarity with laboratory method validation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Understanding of statistical tools for monitoring and controlling quality parametersProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data recording, analysis, and reporting.Education & ExperienceAssociate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.Technical diploma or equivalent laboratory training in chemical analysis or quality control may be considered with relevant experience1-3 years of laboratory or quality control experience preferably in: lubricants, metalworking fluids, specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, industrial manufacturing environmentsLocation: Irwindale, CACompensation : $65,000-$70,000 per yearPosition locationJob locationAmerica, USA, CaliforniaLocationIrwindaleOffice LocationCypress, Los Angeles - California - USATeleworking (Homeoffice)Hybrid (Partial)Candidate criteriaMinimum level of education required3- BachelorMinimum level of experience required2-5 yearsRequesterPosition start date20/04/2026
