An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled inpatient/clinical pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in Brick, NJ. This contract role offers a dynamic schedule involving day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, providing essential pharmacy services throughout the facility. Location: Brick, NJ Job Type: Contract Start Date: January 2 Duration: 12 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension to 24 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, including weekends Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and clinical pharmacy coverage across the hospital Manage Transitional Care and med reconciliation processes to ensure patient safety Offer detailed patient drug information and education to patients and caregivers Participate in clinical rounding as needed to support medical teams Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of inpatient/clinical pharmacy experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Proficiency with EPIC pharmacy software system Active pharmacy licensure applicable to the location Additional Requirements: Submission of COVID-19 vaccination card copy alongside application materials Provide two inpatient supervisor references Complete resume (Word format, no logos), skills checklist, and documentation for licensure Advance notice of any requested time off during the contract period This role enables pharmacists to make a significant impact on patient outcomes while working in a supportive hospital environment.
