Job Description: • Administers, scores and interprets individual psychological tests or test batteries for purposes of crisis intervention, neuropsychological issues, risk assessment, severe behavioral management cases, treatment, and programming.• Participates in hearings as assigned and assessments for potential suicide. • As a member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for development and implementation of mental health interventions (e.g., psychological, social and substance abuse) for a caseload of offenders/patients with mental illness• Conducts individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual mental health treatment plan using clinical intervention strategies within their scope of practice. • Provides mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload, including the monitoring of the offender compliance with the mental health treatment plan.• Completes detailed screens, mental health evaluations and crisis services within their scope of practice• Writes reports and/or documents to include documentation of all offender contacts, mental health liaison progress note entries, discharge plans and miscellaneous forms and reports as needed.• Completes psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning.• Completes transfer and discharge summaries and pre-parole clinical risk assessments and treatment summaries.• Consults with other institution staff regarding the mental health caseload, inmate institutional adjustment and service needs.Location: State of OH ODRC - Lorain Correctional (LorCI)Pay:$ 85/hr.Mon-Fri/ 8-4pmNo weekends/Holidays Powered by JazzHR
