The mission of All Star Children's Foundation (ASCF) is to build a brighter future for children in foster care through innovation, science, and compassion. ASCF is situated on a 5-acre campus that includes an outpatient mental health and research center, along with 6 single-family foster homes. Foster parents and children on campus receive comprehensive intervention and support services from a team of trauma-informed professionals. Position Title: Mental Health ClinicianEmployment Status: Full-time, exemptSalary Range: $60,000-$85,000/yearASCF is seeking a licensed or license-eligible Mental Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed screening, assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention to children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and child welfare involvement. This role is essential to ensuring comprehensive, high-quality, trauma-informed care for every child and family served, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team model.A successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related Human Services fieldCurrent licensure in the State of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist), Registered Intern status with the Florida Board, or eligibility for licensure with active pursuit of Registered Intern status with the Florida BoardPreferred: Minimum of two years of post-master's supervised experience providing intervention and treatment to children and families impacted by traumaDemonstrated familiarity with evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions for children and familiesPreferred: Certification or advanced training in evidence-based trauma treatments and frameworks (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR, PCIT, ARC, MI, TBRI)Experience administering trauma screenings and assessment measures, conducting clinical interviews, and performing behavioral observationStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in electronic health record documentation in compliance with Medicaid standardsAbility to collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the client's clinical journeyKnowledge of child abuse and neglect, the child welfare system, and adoption processesPreferred: Experience working in community-based, group home, or residential settingsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed services across outpatient, community, campus, and telehealth settings while maintaining fidelity to ASCF program modelsConduct comprehensive, trauma-focused screenings and assessments to evaluate children's emotional, behavioral, and social functioningDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized, strength-based treatment plansSupport therapeutic transitions and promote placement stability for children and familiesEngage and collaborate with birth families, foster families, and other caregivers to support treatment goals and reinforce trauma-informed parenting practicesProvide clinical case management, including care coordination, active participation in child-focused team meetings, and collaboration with systems to ensure continuity and integration of careParticipate in multidisciplinary case planning meetings, team huddles, and ongoing supervision to support clinical decision-making and team alignmentMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards and insurance requirementsParticipate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledgeProvide trauma-informed training and educational workshops for staff, caregivers, and community partnersWe offer an excellent benefits package that includes generous PTO in addition to options for medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings.** Candidates will be required to undergo and successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to hire.
