Job duties include, but are not limited to facilitating IOP groups, completing psychosocial assessments, providing individual/family therapy, case management, lead family nights. Complete all diagnosis assessments, treatment plans and discharge plans. Compete and track all insurance information. Submit all documentation within acceptable Center timeframes. The position interfaces with agencies to increase cooperation and consistency between home, school, and community. Embraces the key values and principles of the Re-Ed Philosophy.Due to the diversity of job responsibilities, this position requires flexibility in scheduling. This position requires an F endorsement on a Driver's license. Any other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate. Lead daily IOP groupsConduct Individual & Family TherapyLead Family Night 1x/monthContact & screen (A-COD) all referrals w/in 1 business day of call & set up intakesComplete Assessments/Intakes timelyComplete Diagnosis assessment, treatment plans, discharge plansComplete and track all Insurance information (pre-auths, concurrents & d/c)Monitor referrals/group size/insurance/etc. to meet productivity standardsComplete supervised Drug Screens as neededUpdate census on weekly basisComplete Progress/Clinician/Therapist/Weekly Notes within acceptable Center timeframesSubmit monthly paperwork by prescribed deadline (billing sheets, etc.)Transportation as neededCase management as neededParticipates in weekly treatment team meetings/supervisionProvides therapeutic support and crisis interventionUpholds center policy and procedures, and CARF standardsCompletes other duties as assigned to meet program's therapeutic, administrative and funding requirements Job Duties: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; and employee will also perform other reasonably related job responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor. Conduct screenings and all referrals within 1 business day/ set up intakes3. Complete assessments within 5 days of referral/diagnosis assessment4. Complete and track all insurance information5. Communicates with referral sources and parents about start date, progress, & projected completion date6. Complete treatment plans within 3 days of face-to-face contact/aftercare/ discharge plans7. Schedule individual therapy session within first 2 weeks of treatment, if not in therapy8. Schedule at least one family therapy session during the first 4 weeks of treatment9. Assist in obtaining UDS on Redirections clients10. Assist in arranging transportation or transporting clients when needed11. Ensure that clients are supervised at all times during the program hours12. Provide coverage as neededAdministrative1. Completes all required clinical documentation in accordance with Center Policy and Procedure and funding source guidelines.2. Completes all related paperwork in accordance with P&P and funding guidelines (i.e. screenings, assessments, progress notes, tx plans, discharge plans, etc.)3. Completes progress notes weekly and submits all documentation in a timely manner4. Completes Narrative Treatment Plan Reviews for assigned clients5. Maintain census to ensure productivity standards6. Maintain and monitor outcome measures to ensure quality and effectivenessProfessionalism/Professional Development1. Exhibits accountability for assigned responsibilities2. Responds to all flags, emails and voicemails within 1-2 business day.3. Attends and is on time for tx team meeting weekly4. Attends and engages in staff development activities as requested by supervisorFlexibility/Adaptability1. Accepts additional duties as assigned.Communication & Relationships1. Attends supervision regularly to communicate any problems and give/receive feedback openly2. Maintains professional, respectful communication with co-workers, clients, and referral sources even when conflict arises.Compensation: Starting Salary for this position is $51,878/ yr based on relevant education and experience. Education/Knowledge: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field of study. Knowledge of addiction and adolescent development is preferred. Experience: Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual and developmental disabilities One year experience preferred. Experience working with adolescents as well as previous experience in the alcohol and drug field is preferred although applicants may have other skills and experiences that could accommodate this position. Experience/knowledge of motivational interviewing, Re-Ed philosophy and 12-step programs, as well as assessment, treatment planning and after-care is also beneficial. Physical/Emotional/Social Skills This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. This position also requires that the employee has an F Endorsement on his/her Driver License to be available to transport individuals as needed. Must be capable of driving a van and also transporting clients in personal vehicle.Valid driver's license. Lifting up to 50lbs. frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.Close Eye WorkHearing of normal and soft tones.Ability to effectively and ethically counsel children and families. Ability to present professionally and work within a team format to plan, implement, and evaluate successful interventions.Ability to effectively run and process and psycho-educational groups with children/adolescents and families. Ability to work within a team format to meet positive goals for children and interface with other agencies involved in the ecology of the family. Must be capable of assisting in utilizing nonviolent methods of crisis intervention including therapeutic holding. Must have mental ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure and effective decision-making skills, ability to set and demonstrate appropriate boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations. Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good time management and organizational skills. Must be computer literate and have ability to communicate effectively (oral and written communication.)Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking. Physical de-escalation techniques will only be implemented at Helen Ross McNabb Center facilities, and not in community settings.
