The position requires board certification and an active New York state license. The setting is outpatient only. The team composition includes one MD and one NP on-site, with additional support staff. The patient volume is approximately 12 to 15 patients per day, which varies by patient mix. The case mix consists of approximately 80% oncology and 20% hematology. The hematology scope includes both benign and malignant cases. Familiarity with bone marrow procedures is a plus, although most cases are handled by interventional radiology. Credentialing requires a completed immunization record, flu vaccine or declination, and a negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within one year of start. Immediate need is flagged with the credentialing team for expedited processing. EMR system utilized is EPIC.
