This position is a Competitive Civil Service Position and requires the applicant to be: Reachable on an existing Dutchess County Human Resources Certification of Eligible List; or, Currently working in, or previously held an Assistant to School Food Service Director civil service title; or, Other candidates who have equivalent education and licensing are encouraged to apply and will be considered as allowed per Civil Service regulations. Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for an Assistant to School Food Service Director. This is a 12-month position with full benefits. Interested applicants must have a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of nutrition and their application to the health of children; good knowledge of all phases of a school food service program, knowledge of the principles and practices of large quantity food preparation, menu planning, purchasing, and equipment selection and care.
