This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to provide clinical leadership within a residential behavioral health setting while partnering closely with executive leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Clinical Director will oversee the clinical integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of residential behavioral health programs serving children. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring services align with licensing, accreditation, and best-practice standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will play a critical role in shaping treatment outcomes, staff development, and organizational excellence. PERKS: • Competitive salary of $150,000 • Flexible scheduling within standard business hours, with autonomy to manage workload • Opportunity to lead meaningful, mission-driven clinical work impacting vulnerable youth • Supportive executive leadership and collaborative multidisciplinary environment • Professional development and leadership growth within a stable nonprofit organization RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for residential behavioral health programs serving children • Supervise, mentor, and support managers, clinicians, and direct care staff across multidisciplinary teams • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards, including child welfare and mental health requirements • Oversee clinical program design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement • Partner with executive leadership and external agencies to support coordinated, ethical, and effective service delivery • Support staff training, performance management, and professional development aligned with best practices QUALIFICATIONS: • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, child development, or a related field • Active and valid California LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license (required) • Clinical experience within residential and/or child-serving behavioral health settings • Supervisory experience leading clinical or multidisciplinary teams • Strong knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and child protection systems COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This position offers a salary of $150,000.
