An immediate opening is available for a full-time pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy in Vestal, NY. This direct hire position offers a 36-hour workweek with a consistent schedule and an opportunity to work closely with the pharmacy manager in daily operations and patient care. Location: Vestal, NY Schedule: Monday through Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM Sunday: 10 AM - 2 PM Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense medications, including non-prescription drugs, ensuring proper dosage and composition. Provide advice to self-medicating patients and maintain communication with health and insurance professionals. Administer patient immunizations regularly. In the pharmacy manager's absence, oversee scheduling, performance management, discipline, and task delegation for pharmacy associates to optimize team effectiveness.
