Job Title: Vascular Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: (based on experience, training, and skill set) Schedule: 40 hours/week (No nights, weekends, or holiday call) Location: Fall River, MA & Rhode Island (Warwick & North Providence offices) Position OverviewWe are seeking a Vascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, collaborative team. The practice includes office-based care, an in-office endovascular suite, Vein Center, accredited vascular lab, and hospital coverage.You will work alongside five fellowship-trained, board-certified vascular surgeons, as well as experienced APPs and clinical staff, providing comprehensive outpatient vascular care. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate new patient referrals and conduct follow-up visitsOrder and interpret diagnostic studiesPrepare patients and families for angiography and surgical proceduresProvide post-operative care and ongoing patient managementEducate patients on vascular conditions, procedures, and risk factor modificationPrescribe medications, review labs, and manage treatment plansCollaborate with physicians, specialists, visiting nurses, and care teams Clinical Focus AreasWound care management, including minor debridement and infection managementArterial and venous diseases such as:Carotid stenosis and strokeAortic aneurysmsClaudication and ischemic ulcersVaricose veins and venous ulcersSclerotherapy (preferred)Non-invasive vascular testing (or willingness to learn)Minor procedures such as venous catheter removal (training available) QualificationsLicensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts and Rhode IslandValid DEA license and Massachusetts Controlled Substances RegistrationBLS and ACLS certificationMinimum 1-2 years of vascular or related clinical experience required .Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based environment Practice & TechnologyFully integrated EMR: eClinicalWorks (scheduling, documentation, e-prescribing, billing)Participation in national quality initiativesEmphasis on community education, shared decision-making, and continuous learning BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageHealth insuranceMalpractice coverage401(k) retirement planCME allowancePaid time off Location HighlightsPractice in a beautiful New England setting with access to coastal, suburban, and city living.
