Job Description

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local outpatient healthcare provider in Alamogordo, NM where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.RT or RCP license in good standing with the State of New Mexico required.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the NBRC required.BLS certification (AHA only) required.Experience with ventilator management, airway management (including endotracheal and nasotracheal suctioning), delivery of aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy preferred.Experience with blood gas collection and analysis, chest film interpretation, and basic EKG analysis preferred.1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
