Salary Range: Manager - D28 $100,000-$145,000 Job Summary: Director of Nursing Programs (reporting to the Assistant Dean/Nursing) Ramapo College of New Jersey, a public liberal arts institution, seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking professional staff member (12 months) with a primary focus in Nursing reflecting a deep commitment to the College's core academic pillars: international, intercultural, interdisciplinary, and experiential learning. Examples of Duties Duties * Responsible for the overall management of the pre-licensure, RN/BSN, MSN and DNP programs, including curriculum oversight, evaluation and continual improvement as well as faculty recruitment and scheduling. * Ensures the provision of academic excellence and fostering of a supportive and inclusive environment for faculty and students * Ensures that the program meets accreditation standards and regulatory requirements and remains current with professional standards and requirements. * Oversees preparation for accreditation self studies, State Board reports, and site visits. * Collaborates and acts as a liaison with clinical partners to maintain those relationships ensuring effective learning environments * Leads faculty teams collaboratively ensuring innovative and supportive faculty environments. * Supports student success through provision and evaluation of advisement, counseling and other student success services. * Ensures appropriate and current affiliation and compliance data * Collaborates across campus to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the program and ensure the college mission and vision are aligned * Implements and evaluates resources available to the programs and utilizes in a fiscally responsible manner Qualifications Required Qualifications: Doctorate in Nursing and Master's Degree in Nursing Eligibility for NJ licensure or Compact license 10 or more years of full-time nursing faculty experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program. Administrative experience in an academic setting with demonstrated leadership in curriculum development and evaluation Scholarly activity in nursing education, practice or leadership Preferred Qualifications: Experience with nursing accreditation and State Board accreditation Professional certification Experience with innovative technology across the nursing curricula New program development Application Materials Cover Letter indicating interest and qualifications Curriculum Vitae Copies of certifications and licenses Statement of leadership philosophy and potential directions for nursing education at Ramapo College (3 pages maximum) Review of applications will begin on May 1, 2026 and will continue until the position is filled.
