Responsibilities Job ID 84983-147 Date posted 02/20/2026 Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest is hiring a Surgical Tech Welcome to Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest We have 3 OR rooms and 1 treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Spine, Pain Management. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience * Certification as required by state and/or center * Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred * Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient * Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation * Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed * Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians Who We Are At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
