Duties School Psychologists at FJSPED work collaboratively with school staff and parents to assess student skills, develop and implement interventions, and improve multi-tiered systems of support for struggling students from ages pre-k to 21. School Psychologists consult with school staff on behavior, academic, and social-emotional interventions and data collection. The School Psychology team participates in a multitude of learning opportunities and professional development throughout each school year, often including attending NASP Conferences, ISPA Conferences, Special Education Law workshops, Behavior Modification workshops, Trauma workshops, and more. The opportunity to join the Behavior Team exists. Qualifications Valid Professional Educator License with *An Illinois License for School Psychology Salary/Benefits Commensurate with experience, competitive salary and benefits. Additional Notes As a member of a School Psychology team at FJSPED, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals, work on a team to improve student outcomes, share information, and discuss your concerns with a team of School Psychologists. You will also work closely with teachers, aides, school staff, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Vision and Hearing Impaired Specialists, and many others.
