In this role, you will support cutting-edge research within the Human Performance Directorate of the 711th Human Performance Wing, contributing to the Air Force's mission to optimize human performance in demanding aerospace environments. **What You Will Do** + Identify, integrate, and test hardware and software systems that enable advanced aerospace physiology research. + Support a variety of biomechanical, biometric, and cognitive data collection and analysis efforts. + Troubleshoot and maintain experimental equipment, ensuring reliable data acquisition and system functionality. + Collaborate effectively with human subjects, government researchers, and industry partners to support ongoing studies and research initiatives. + Document research protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical findings to support project deliverables. **What Qualifications You Will Bring** + This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship + Master's degree in a related scientific, engineering, or health-focused field + 5 years of relevant research or industry experience. + Hands-on experience acquiring, installing, and maintaining test equipment to meet specific project or research requirements. + Proven experience in the collection, management, and analysis of large datasets, including working with data communication protocols and analysis pipelines. + Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience authoring reports, SOPs, and test documentation. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment. + Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience working with human subjects in research or clinical settings. + Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar). + Experience with CAD modeling or design for laboratory setups and experimental systems. **Clearance Level** No Clearance **ITAR Requirement:** _T_ _his position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
