Find your calling at Mercy!Mercy - St. Louis | Roles: Patient Care Associate (PCA), Nurse Tech, Patient Transporter, Medical AssistantAt Mercy, our co-workers bring to life a healing ministry through compassionate care and exceptional service-and we invite caring, team-oriented individuals to support our patients during high-volume seasons in several frontline rolesPosition Details:Role HighlightsRequirements: Education: High School Diploma or GEDPatient Care Associate (PCA)What you'll do: Under RN/LPN direction, assist with vitals, meals, bathing, toileting, safe ambulation/mobility, and patient transport; perform designated clinical and non-clinical tasks after competency.Nurse Tech (NT)What you'll do: Support bedside care with vitals, ADLs, mobility/transport, and unit-approved skills such as phlebotomy/blood cultures, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/Foley removal, trach suctioning, ostomy care, wound vacs, and NG management/removal (after competency).Patient TransporterWhat you'll do: Safely transport patients and equipment between departments using proper body mechanics; maintain equipment PAR levels; track moves in Epic to ensure accurate routing and throughput.Medical Assistant (MA) - Clinic/OutpatientWhat you'll do: Support providers with direct/indirect patient care-room patients, obtain vitals/histories, assist with exams/procedures, document in the EHR, and help coordinate front-to-back clinic flow per protocol and scope.Why Mercy?From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
