Required Qualifications: * A doctorate in Kinesiology or a closely related field of study. Candidates in the process of completing a doctoral degree will be considered, but the degree must be conferred before the time of appointment. * Demonstrate the potential to conduct research, procure external funding, and engage in scholarly activities in their areas of expertise. * College or University-level teaching experience or potential to teach in-person, hybrid, or online courses. Preferred Qualifications: * Expertise and ability to teach two or more areas: Adapted Physical Activity, Motor Behavior, Sport & Exercise Psychology. * Ability to teach closely related courses (Adapted Aquatics, Data Science, Epidemiology in physical activity). * Clinical or field experience in the related subject area. * Evidence of research ability and ongoing scholarly productivity. * Research/lab experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. * Experience adopting inclusive approaches to mentoring. * Relevant credentials or certifications (ATRIC, CMPC, CIFT, or equivalent). * Broad and balanced disciplinary knowledge across biological, socio-cultural, and aesthetic dimensions of human movement. * Evidence of effective engagement or potential to engage with a diverse student body. * Experience using culturally responsive pedagogy that leads to equitable outcomes. * Experience creating student-centered learning environments.
