Example of Duties The Playground Leader is responsible for supervising participants and organizing and leading activities at a specific park location for youth ages 5 - 12. Leaders will promote fair play, honesty, and kindness. Maintain rules and safety standards at all times. Locations vary throughout Port Washington. Minimum Qualifications The minimum age for Playground Leaders is 16 years old. The ideal candidate will be mature, responsible, and have a great attitude. Preference may be given to persons majoring in recreation, physical education, or elementary education. The candidate should enjoy working with people, especially children, and have the ability to effectively communicate with children and adults.
