A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to provide specialized support within a school district in Columbus, Indiana. This role focuses on conducting special education evaluations across multiple school buildings and collaborating closely with educators, families, and district staff to meet student needs while ensuring compliance with special education regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually to assess student needs. Support special education services across three school buildings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop appropriate interventions. Participate in monthly team meetings to coordinate support efforts. Maintain compliance with all applicable special education laws and district policies. Report directly to the district supervisory team for guidance and accountability. Qualifications and Experience: Holds a valid Indiana School Psychologist license. Demonstrated experience with psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations preferred. Strong understanding of special education law, policies, and compliance requirements. Ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Schedule and Location: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM. Onsite position located in Columbus, Indiana. Contract dates extend from ASAP through May 21, 2026, with potential for extension into the next school year.
