RapidX - Top Pay! Flex Schedules! + Benefits RapidX is seeking a full or part time mobile EKG tech. Job Overview: This individual will be required to perform EKGs according to established protocols. We are seeking an energetic and motivated team player with a positive demeanor. This position required the ability to communicate well and comprehension of basic principles of EKG rhythm interpretation. You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent for consideration of your application.   RapidX EKG technicians travel to different locations, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences, to perform EKG tests on patients who cannot easily visit healthcare facilities. They bring portable EKG machines and provide on-site testing and monitoring services. Requirements:  EKG Certification or Training – Ability to work independently – Enjoys driving and moving from location to location – Professional attitude and compassion for patient care – Excellent skill set and ability to meet daily challenges – Valid driver’s license – Flexible Schedule – Able to perform, Electrocardiograms & Holter monitor exams. Ekg Technician Duties and Responsibilities Set up cardiac monitoring devices, such as Holter monitors Perform diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests. Prepare patients for the procedure by confirming their medical history and explaining the procedure Prepare the tracings for the cardiologist Monitor patient discomfort during the procedure Clean equipment and stock supplies Oversee monitor application Report findings Oversee EKG scanning Manage EKG application Download documents Performs pacemaker checks Prepare patient and documentation for electrocardiogram by explaining testing procedures, answering patient questions Perform diagnostic test by entering patient information into electrocardiograph including history number and patient’s history and by fastening/removing electrodes to specific areas of arms, legs, and chest Review electrocardiogram for technical acceptability and rate Prepare and maintain supplies, and equipment by cleaning and maintaining equipment.
