American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based position in Michigan requiring AHA certifications and a mixed day/night shift schedule.Job Details• Three 12-hour shifts per week on a 4-week repeating schedule,• Primary schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays on day shift (5:30am-6:00pm), with rotating Wednesday night shifts (5:30pm-6:00am),• Rotating weekend coverage required, approximately one Saturday or Sunday shift per schedule cycle,• Mixed day and night shift position,Job Requirements• Active RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required,• Active Michigan (MI) state license required (license required if applicable),• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required,• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years required for consideration,• Current Respiratory Therapy skills checklist (within 1 year) required for consideration,• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible,Additional Information• Administer medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers as part of routine respiratory care,• Perform protocol evaluations to assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions,• Respond immediately to Rapid Response, arrest, and STAT situations, including maintaining artificial airways and providing cardiac compressions,• Set up and maintain all oxygen delivery systems according to protocol,• Work may be performed independently or in consultation with a physician,• Previous travel assignment experience is preferred,• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment,• Copies of all certifications must be included with your profile for consideration
