This opportunity seeks an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech proficient in Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures, located in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract position offering the chance to work in a bustling operating room environment with a high case volume and a variety of surgical specialties. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR experience, preferably in CVOR specialties. Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech education program. BLS certification required; national certification preferred. Strong and current experience with CABG, TAVR, Vascular, and Thoracic cases. Ability to scrub in on Orthopedic, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, Plastic surgeries is a plus. Skilled in patient positioning, room turnover, and operating surgical tables. EPIC EMR experience and familiarity with Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors are advantageous. Responsibilities: Assist surgical teams in CVOR cases, including cardiothoracic, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. Provide support for room turnover, stocking, and patient positioning. Collaborate with OR assistants, charge nurses, anesthesia teams, and unit reception staff. Participate in a comprehensive orientation: one week in Main OR and two weeks in CVOR.
