VeloSource has a Cardiology Opportunity in Williamsport, PA.Active PA State License Required. *Will consider IMLC in hand and/or providers who already applied for IMLC Must be Board CertifiedMinimum # Years Experience: 1Certifications Required: ACLS; BLSTrauma Level Designation: Level IIAPP/Mid-Level Coverage AvailablePrimarily looking for hospital coverage and reading/imaging coverage such as stress testing, EKGs, monitors, echos, nuclear, cardiac mri, etc.Coverage Need Details: Inpatient rounding, consults, reading images, TEEs, proctoring stress tests (occasionally), etc.Will have a PA-C in the AM to assist most daysShifts are 8am-5pm in hospital and 5pm to 8am CallWould need to cover at least one weekend on either side of the week coverageWould take call at least 5 days during the 7-day stretchTypes of Calls: In-House; Telephone; 30min ResponseNotes re: Call: Typically doesn't require the doc to come in unless it's a stat TEE for a dissection. Rare for these but do occur from time to time. Most calls can be managed over the phone and triaged from hotel.Geographic Restriction: Must stay within 30 min of the hospital. We have multiple hotels within 5 min radius of hospital.Providers Typical Day: start at 8a to cover the hospital service. There will be an NP and PA also helping with coverage. Would need to do consults, periop TEEs, cardioversions, follow up consults, and answer questions other providers would have.
