Sterile Processing Technician (FT) Department: Surgery Minimum Requirements: Surgical Technician Certification is required. Certified Surgical Technician certification and 1 year of OR experience is preferred. Job Duties: Responsible for processing contaminated instruments and supplies, checking equipment/instruments after use to ensure proper function, cleans/decontaminates equipment and instruments using proper tools and cleaning agents, and assists in set up and cleaning of operating room.
